Finally finished this damn book and I am not finishing the series. What a disappointment in comparison to her other series!
I have spent all these books waiting for Paige to be smarter or prove why everybody thinks she's amazing. She continues to be so stupid and make amazingly bad decisions. Also she gets all this respect as Underqueen of London and yet she ends up connected with two clearly very well organized underground organizations that she could learn from OR defer to and she doesn't, she just keeps being stupid and thinking her way is the best way. It is exhausting.
What is also exhausting is her and Arctutus. There is zero chemistry. The only way I could see being invested in their dynamic is if when you read Harry Potter you thought to yourself "I sure wish Harry would hang out with these centaurs more" bc thats exactly what it feels like. 
Anyhow I did this as a group read along and I am SO glad it's done so I can go back to reading good books/switch over to Roots of Chaos instead
