The Power by Naomi Alderman

3.0

soooo, in all honesty, i don’t know how i feel about this book. i got confused quite a bit while reading it and just as i thought i understood what was going on or what the underlying message was, i just would get confused again. this book has potential, but i think in order for it to be appreciated fully you need to read it while taking notes and being fully present. i went into this book just looking for a good dystopian read since i found this book on a list of dystopian books. i definitely wasn’t expecting all this, but i didn’t hate it either. i don’t know, definitely keeping this one to reread later down the line.
