The Love of My Afterlife by Kirsty Greenwood
5.0
I really loved this one. It was cute, funny, and even a little emotional. Delphie learned so much during her second chance at life that it gave the book a deeper meaning.
This felt a lot like Drop Dead Diva meets The Good Place. Those were two of my favorite shows once upon a time.
Merritt was so funny. I loved her obsession with romance novels and all the mentions of some of my favorite books or authors. Not to mention the book tropes. I sort of predicted the end and twist with Merritt. I'm glad it ended like it did.
Some of the British phrases or words threw me off a bit and broke me out of the story. As I'm very American, I sometimes had a hard time understanding what certain things meant.
