This was okay. It had an interesting premise, but the unfolding plot and the author's writing style weren't very compelling. I wasn't hooked on this story at all. The characters were relatively boring, a little watery; and several (apparently key) concepts were not well-explained - I seriously doubt I will read any more of these books.
