I have mixed opinions... 1st I find myself slowly drifting away from YA and Hank did a good job making this character read like a young adult... April May got on my nerves.
2nd, I am interested in this Carls and the sci-fi aspects of this story. I wasn't going to continue this series then I read the ending and now I think I might give it a shot.
While I was reading this story I was invested but when I put this book down there was low intrigue to bring me back to the story. So I would have to remind myself that I did enjoy it.
