The Watchers by Jon Steele
5.0
There are books that you read that you never want to end. This was one of them for me.
There are books that captivate you and make you want to live within their pages for a long time after the last page is turned. This is one of them for me.
There are books with characters so well written, you wish they were real just so you could befriend them. Again, this is one of them for me. I dreamed about these characters a few nights after reading.
Marc Rochat the guardian of the bells at Lausanne Cathedral, warped and physically twisted as he was wiggled his way into my heart.
Jay Harper the Angel who does not remember he is one, though gritty was one of the best characters I have read in a long time.
And Katherine Taylor, the stunning beauty turned high priced call girl truly was a Golden Hearted Lady.
Not to mention the Cathedral and the bells, each with their own wonderful personalities.Jon Steele wrought a truly enjoyable read, so glad this is only book 1 of a trilogy. For now I will be left to dwell in these pages as book 2 just came out in Hardcover. Now to find something new to fill the void.
