Posthumanist Applied Linguistics by Alastair Pennycook

5.0

Pennycook's 2019 book reads like a conversation (though I can respond only by writing notes). Posthumanist Applied Linguistics manages to be both affirming (of my own unconventional upbringing, of my 'beliefs' or 'ideas' about humans and "more-than-humans", and of the theoretical foundations for research methods that I'm most attracted to), eye-opening, and informative.
