I was skeptical at first about this book. For one reason, I’m not a fan of Sarah J Maas’ writing. For another, I like Catwoman as a supporting character; I never did think that she could be the star of a YA book. But I will say that this book exceeded expectations. Unlike the last two books in the DC Icons series, this one entirely uses preexisting DC characters and has plenty of fun with it! Using Harley and Poison Ivy and having an early version of the Gotham Sirens was a great addition to have here! I can easily say this is my favorite so far! Only Superman is left!
