Exile and the Kingdom by Albert Camus
4.0
This book reminds me why I love short stories. Exile and the Kingdom is a beautiful example of how we can explore different themes of humanity through seemingly disconnected stories. Camus explores a longing for freedom, abandonment, existential confusion, alienation from society, morality, isolation and exile. They all intertwine seamlessly together.
