I picked this book up from the library because there are only so many comics with Kate Bishop in this world and I need more of her always. However, as with the last two Ashley Poston books I’ve read, I loved the ideas in the book but not the execution. I love the concept of villainy through literature, and I will always love reading about America and Kate’s friendship, but I guess Ashley Poston’s writing style just isn’t for me. I really enjoyed Geekarella, so I thought I may enjoy this YA novel as well, but I fear I’ll just have to keep holding out for a new comic run.
