better than the 1st book, because there are lots of new characters with interesting backgrounds.

there was this one thing that bothering me tho...
I don’t know if it’s just me hating on the main characters for making some stupid decision,, or the main characters (Alina and Mal especially) actually did always made clumsy stupid decisions before ended up being captured by The Darkling
