Palestinian Walks: Forays Into a Vanishing Landscape by Raja Shehadeh

5.0

A beautiful account of place and our relationship with the landscape which has slowly been eroded and stolen from the indigenous people of Palestine. I cannot write too much more because my heart is full of anger and sadness that some people are allowed to go wherever they want while others are trapped and restricted. The land is not ours to own, we should only be looking after it during this short time on earth. My only consolation is that the land will long outlive us and our destructive ways.
