Upon a reread, The Name of the Wind is just as good as when I first read it if not better. I continue to highly recommend this story, but some of the perhaps unintentional flaws in the protagonist are more apparent on a reread. Regardless, this book is the best audiobook I’ve ever heard. Podel is an excellent narrator, and, because the story is told as a first person retroscopective, listening to him feels like you’re listening to Kvothe the Bloodlesss himself.
