I won an ARC of this book from LibraryThing. Dear Mr. M is the story of a writer whose most famous book was based on a true crime that involved 2 high school students supposedly murdering their teacher, who had an affair with the girl. The book goes back and forth from present day Mr. M and his neighbor and the story of the students 40 years ago and what led up to the incident. There definitely was a twist at the end I didn't see coming. If you enjoyed The Dinner and like Herman Koch's style of writing, then you will like this book.
