This is Ina's memoir about her life. I've heard of Ina, but I've never watched her shows and I think that I got one of her cook books from the library, but really didn't cook from it. I wasn't particularly interested in picking up this book, but one of my book clubs picked it and I'm actually glad that I read it. I learned so much about her that I didn't know before. I loved hearing about her story. I listened to the audiobook, which I think would be the best way to consume this book. I guess what I didn't particularly care for is how she didn't acknowledge her privilege very much. She always talked about how they didn't have much money, but she came from a wealthy family, her husband had a good job, and they were always buying places. Sure, they might not have been rich, but they definitely had a lot more than most people. I think if you are an Ina fan, you will love this book.
