Oh my wow…while this is a short story, and majority is made up of such beautiful artwork, the storytelling is absolutely incredible. There is so much depth to this story and I know for a fact that I did not pick up on everything with this first time read. Wow I simultaneously want to be optimistic about the ending and yet cry at the same time. The whole thing is gorgeously tragic, and I loved every second of it.
