Dancing With Danger by Kerrigan Byrne

5.0

I know I've said this before, but I LOVE Kerrigan Byrne's books and I encourage everyone to read them. I honestly believe that she could make the phone book a page turner.

This book follows Mercy Goode and I adore her! She's daring and doesn't have the patience to play games and when a friend is found dead (murdered), she is determined to figure out who killed her. When Raphael Sauvageau reveals himself at the scene of the crime, Mercy quickly becomes motivated to figure out his connection.

Raphael may be my favorite...at least until Byrne makes me fall for another of her characters. He has a past and it's clear he and his brother didn't have an easy childhood. I love that he loves his brother and the way he and Mercy are when they are together was fantastic.

As the story progresses, we learn much more about Raphael and what he is up to. When Mercy inserts herself right into the middle of his plans, things shift and everything changes for them both. I loved the ending to this book and can't wait for Felicity's story and learning more about Gabriel. And anything that comes next. I also have to say, I love it when characters from past books make it into the current story and we get a bit of Pru, Morley, and Titus in this book.

Thank you to the publisher and Netgalley for the early copy in exchange for an honest review.
