Good start to a new series set in the same universe as the Kincaid Pack. It does state that you don't need to read what came before but that would be helpful as some characters and parings are mentioned but not explained, and characters appear from previous books. I have had all the Kincaid but haven't read the prequel to this one and I did feel that I had missed some storyline.
I loved Cash and Ore. The Silver Oak pack is very isolated and only accepts feline shifters, they're also very untrusting of outsiders. With Ore being without his memory it gave them a chance to get to know each other as he got better. I did enjoy this part of the storyline. I did feel that they jumped to sex kind of out of the blue. They were platonic and yes attracted to each other and then boom here we are.
Once Ore got his memory back the story picked up as the pack moved to help another, and we moved away from the guys getting to know each other to the overall story arc. The previous characters were introduced and it was great seeing the ones we did.
I like that the overall story arc will obviously be addressed over the series, and I'm looking forward to continuing on to see where it leads. There are a number of characters I'm very much looking forward to their stories.
