One Summer by Karen Robards

Reread this one 20 years later. It’s so funny to read about how sexy a hairy chest is and how people had to phone each other on house phones. Low-key classism, racism and slut shaming is rampant throughout. But it’s a good story with so much angst. Just have to read it in the tone of when it was written.
I’m not changing my rating because I have a policy against that, but just be aware this rating is nostalgic. This book never would have gotten past my rigorous 5 star review standards today.
