Gilt by Katherine Longshore
4.0
I will admit, I completely forgot I had this book but I'm so glad I picked it back up.
First of all - historical....I'm in. I loved the fact that Longshore took the story of Catherine Howard and dove into the detail behind how she thought things happened.
Cat drove me crazy - she was so selfish and everything was about what she wanted and how she could get it. Kitty drove me crazy too but in the completely opposite direction - she always gave in to whatever Cat wanted. I loved seeing the relationship develop with William and Kitty and it made me so sad to read the end of the book with no follow up to what happened with him after he left his position with the Duke.
