A Fatal Affair is a standalone psychological thriller/mystery by author A.R. Torre. I’ve read this author before and found this one to be my favorite so far. The story is told from multiple POV which bring together a complex and layered mystery that will keep you guessing right to the very end. This author knows how to write a sharp, shocking and heart-pounding thriller. I enjoyed the use of diary entries and newspaper articles which break up the narrative sections. I’ll be sure to keep an eye on this author and be reviewing their entire backlog. Thanks to the author, publisher and Netgalley for the opportunity to read an arc of this book.
