I enjoyed this one, it was a great follow up to Wick.
We get to see the children of the guys in the first book all grown up.
I felt for Massy and his confusion at the start. Everyone knew what was going on except him, and all the half speak was annoying him and myself to be honest. All it needed was someone to actually start an honest conversation. Once everything was out in the open Massy was a lot happier.
Being Creawick’s son it was hilarious that everyone underestimated him and what he could do. Even his own partners didn’t understand or appreciate just what he was capable of.
I feel like Kalwick was kind of left behind. Massy and Amawick were both powerful wicks where he was reduced to being just the muscle. Yes he was a prince but that was all.
I loved Amawick. To see how powerful, happy and content she had grown up to be was wonderful.
