I Who Have Never Known Men by Jacqueline Harpman

Reading the blurb for this book, I wasn't sure what to expect, but I wasn't disappointed. Loved the eerie and disturbing feel the book had.
It was an interesting read, and it raised lots of questions like why these forty women were kept captive and how did they get there. It is something that makes you reflect on humanity and the actions humans make and the effect they have on others.
Reading what happens through the eye of 'The Child' provided a fascinating insight into the lives of these women, and a look into how a child that doesn't know the world before they were held captive thinks and feels towards people and situations.
Would highly recommend this book.
