Poetics by Aristotle
3.0
I first read Poetics for my undergrad in theatre arts fourteen years ago. This time round, I was surprised at how much I garnered when approaching the text from a different artistic perspective. However, the translation in the Dover Thrift Edition is similarly on the cheap side. If you're studying Poetics as part of a formal course of education, I recommend you source a different, reliable edition/translation, such as the version included in The Norton Anthology of Theory and Criticism.
