Wow wow wow! I picked this book up after seeing that the second one was coming soon. I can't believe I had not heard of this author or series before Nerdfam posted about book 2. This book is giving SJM vibes but with its own unique take. The fated mates trope has always been a favorite of mine. The story had me on the edge of my seat and I couldn't stop once the serious plot got started. The first few plot twists I saw coming but the next few totally threw me and I love when a book does that. I can't wait to start book two as I was very lucky enough to get an ARC!
