I whizzed through this in a week (which, considering the amount of crazy happening in my life, is fast) and genuinely did not want it to end. Casiopea is a lovable protagonist but not in some overly sentimental way. Her personal growth feels organic. Her feelings for Hun-Kamé aren’t forced and neither are his. The flowery descriptions didn’t take away from the flow of the plot. I will definitely be rereading this soon and keeping my fingers crossed for a(n albeit unlikely) sequel.
Graphic: Blood
