Dark Planet Warriors was surprisingly good. I don’t read many sci-fi romances, especially not with alien heroes, so I don’t think I can say much aside from the fact that this was an enjoyable read. I really liked the worldbuilding and the different species of aliens. I also really appreciated that the author was able to build a strong foundation for this series without making this book seem like it was solely there to set up the rest of the series.

If I had to nitpick, I would say there were definitely areas in the story that needed more fleshing out and I think the characters could’ve had a bit more depth but for the most part, I really enjoyed how easy this book was to get through. I highly recommend the audiobook as well, the male narrator took some time to get used to but other than that, they were pretty much perfect in their roles.
