This book made me incredibly anxious!

Honestly, I think that is probably the best compliment I can pay to Backman. He is so exceedingly good at character building that even in the most foreign of moments his characters are achingly and beautifully human. Unfortunately, the book found me at the wrong time. I should have waiting until there was less *gestures about* going on in the world that churns out constant chaos and anxiety so I could appreciate it more.
