this was a fun read! i really felt i was in a proper rom-com while reading. the format is the most When Harry Met Sally part of this, and it’s unusual to read a book that spans several years in a series of lengthy vignettes. but it works really well! i know some people seem to think Ari and Josh are unlikeable, but i mostly just felt they were human and it was nice to read something equally silly and real.
