I read this with my middle school daughter and we both loved it. For the most part it's a very benign story (for a young adult book) and it's an intriguing concept of a dystopian society dictating everything in a citizen's life. We loved it. My daughter is reading the whole trilogy. That's on my maybe list--and only because I don't have as much time as she does.
