Dont Sweat The Small Stuff by Richard Carlson
4.0
Incredibly, over 8 million copies of Dr Richard Carlson's little gem had been sold by the time I bought my Hodder and Stoughton 1998 edition of his book! Although the ISBN numbering on the back cover of my edition does not match the yellow cover image of the version shown here, it matters not; after all, let's not sweat the small stuff! However, I prefer the cover art of the edition I have!
It's time that I re-read this book, as its lessons are invaluable. In the meantime, let me leave you with these thoughts from Dr Carlson:
It's time that I re-read this book, as its lessons are invaluable. In the meantime, let me leave you with these thoughts from Dr Carlson:
• Ask yourself this question: 'Will this (whatever this is) matter a year from now?' • Do something nice for someone else - and don't tell anyone about it! • Surrender to the fact that life isn't fair! • Listen to your feelings (they are trying to tell you something) • Remember that when you die, your 'in' box won't be empty.Hmm, indeed.
