I absolutely adore Valia Lind's writing style. First person pov and present tense is my favorite, but this one was different in the way of bringing the reader along the MC's way of processing information and it was just very well done and unique. Looking forward to jumping into each and every world this author has written, which luckily is a lot. It's always a joy to find a new-to-me author with a lot of books to read.

Not a negative on the book, but I do wish that Goodreads had this series correctly sorted. I didn't realize there was a prequel short story or that there's a second book out now and a third one coming soon. I had to visit the authors page and scroll through everything to find the others.
