while the stories in this felt rather inconsequential to the main kny narrative (all they really added was just some extra backstory to giyuu and rengoku), that's not necessarily a bad thing, but maybe I'm biased because I love kny and I especially love giyuu and rengoku, so naturally I'm going to enjoy bonus content like this. regardless, this was so much fun and hirano does such a fantastic job of capturing the spirit of these characters (as well as kny as a whole), and I absolutely love the artstyle! there were so many pretty panels that I couldn't help taking screenshots of some of the pages (I'd read this on libby).
