Deja Brew was a  cute and cozy  magical romance. It’s all about trusting yourself and innate magic, trusting in others to help when you need it most, and not letting yourself be scared to love and be loved.

I enjoyed the realistic pieces of kitchen witchery and culture that were all throughout this book. I loved the fact that body size was never a reason for either MC to be uncertain about themselves, their abilities, nor the others feelings for them. I also enjoyed how important family is in this.

I did feel as if this book could’ve been a bit shorter. There are definitely parts that could’ve been axed and it wouldn’t have taken away from the story imo. The mc’s constant “will they won’t they” about their feelings towards each other got a bit tiresome after a while as well.

If you’re looking for a fun cozy slightly paranormal romance about a kitchen witch and magician, with time loops, magic, shenanigans, low level on page spice (not explicit), thats perfect for a rainy day or fall time read then this is the book for you.
