The Lady of the Lake by Andrzej Sapkowski
4.0
Spoiler
While I think Sapkowski’s side characters to set up some parts of the story are generally fun, this one had a few that dragged too far off course or didn’t really provide the additional context they usually do, having very little purpose other than word count.I was still enthralled in this world I’ve spent the year reading about and loved the characters to the end. Great commentary on human nature and the world and philosophy as always. However, the ending was both drawn out and yet rushed at the same time, leaving me… unfulfilled. I guess I’ll just be happy our Witcher got his happy ending.
