Good first book, enjoyed the plot and characters. Wasn’t too confusing as people said as I am planning to read Assassin’s Blade third, still had a grasp of what was happening. Very good love triangle, hard to pick a side but I’m gonna say Chaol for now. However, the actual competition itself was kinda meh. Like Celaena is so OP at times that’s they just fully skip the Tests so it just felt like what’s the point at times. But all round a good intro to the world and characters without being overly confusing (tho the whole Wyrdmarks do still confuse me lolol)
