Ugh what a good book! I thoroughly enjoyed the twisty turny ride Naomi sent us on with this one! Feast of Fools takes us right back to Pravitia and our favorite deranged rulers. At the end of Dance of the Macabre, we learned about Gemini’s sacrifice and his little secret concerning her….now we get to see the aftermath of those decisions. Feast of Fools is dark, a trigger warning playground, hot but also kinda hilarious. I love the way Naomi makes no apologies for how horrible these characters are, but also manages to give them some humanity and still allows them to have an HEA. I also love that we get to see more of the group dynamics and learn more about the rulers, even when they’re not the main characters of the book.
