Sleep Tight by Rachel Abbott

5.0

What can I say about this book? I read the previous two by Abbott and really enjoyed them, giving them both 5 stars. If I could give this book more stars I would. Olivia is a mother and a trapped woman. When the love of her life and father of her daughter leaves, she seeks comfort with a knight in shining armour, having more children in the process, lovely angelic cherubs. Sounds great yes, the ultimate tale of loss and love.

Think again. From the first chapter, which slaps you in the face, you are reeled into the book and the intricate web is woven around you. Robert, the knight, is absolutely chilling, the ultimate control freak with the mask of a loving father and long suffering husband.

My favourite part of this book is the clever use of points of view, I will not spoil it, but when you read it, you will understand. This is the best yet from Rachel Abbott, and I wait with salivation her 4th book, which I imagine will be truly epic.

Read it now, you will not be disappointed.
