The writing is beautiful though rather simple, i am truly in love with this book. Some might say it's a bit sugar-coated. I really love how this puts spotlight that women have crucial roles in war too. An emotional read for me, i cried several times throughout the book. I also felt like this was a variety of love stories, love for people, for country or even for fighting for what's right. This wrecked me and have everything i wanted in a historical fiction.
