What a debut novel! I went into this knowing nothing and it was surprising in an unexpected way. I think you should go into this one knowing very little like I did.  There is great tension between Isabel and Eve and each time there was a reveal, I think I figured it out like 5 minutes prior to me finding out in the book.  It kept me on my toes.  There's a feeling of repression and also deep loneliness throughout the pages of the book, especially the beginning. I can see this as an A24 film with the moodiness and atmospheric vibes.  This was excellent in audio, highly recommend this book!
