After the events of The Bridge Kingdom, Lara is faced with the consequences of her actions. She has been exiled from the Bridge Kingdom, betrayed her father, and cannot return home. Desperate to redeem herself  Lara sets out to rescue King Aren after he is captured by her father.

If I could give this book a million stars I would!!!!! I'm still in love with Lara, Aren, and this whole world. The connection between Lara and Aren really builds in this book and I felt desperate for it to work out. More spice, more action, more betrayal.
I did not want it to end!!
