I really, truly love Kelly Fox's books. I probably sound like a broken record by now, but she just has a way of telling stories and giving us all these wonderful characters that just does it for me every time. Yet, she still manages to surprise me! Rowdy and Kessler's story did not go the way I thought it would, and I'm actually really happy about that. Because the story we did get was just so very beautiful.

I'm going to keep this short and simple to avoid spoilers, and because I believe that going in as blind as possible is the best way to read this book. If you've read the previous one, Rough Country (which you should), then you've met these characters already, but actually getting to know them was so very wonderful. Rowdy and Kessler are just perfect for each other in so many ways and their journey was beautiful and heartfelt and swoony.

If you're looking for a beautiful, low-angst story with an age-gap romance, found family, and plenty of feels, this is the perfect book for you.
