Really really realllllyyy good book. This is Kresley Cole at her best. In short it’s like the hunger games but with classic fantasy and apocalyptic themes. It’s one of my favorites that I reread every few years.

There are some trigger warnings in here, pretty much everything you could imagine. The only thing YA about this book is the age of the characters. My only negative is that I wish that it was classed as an adult book, 12-18 year olds really have no business reading some of the stuff that is mentioned.
