The Stolen Year: How COVID Changed Children's Lives, and Where We Go Now by Anya Kamenetz

Apart from the anecdotal and narrative pieces, what I felt was missing was the citation work. That kept it from bridging the gap into something that felt like a truly well-researched book. I can tell how much time and effort went into this book and I appreciate that it gives a baseline for the impacts of COVID on education, but I was hoping for deeper.
