Las cosas que perdimos en el fuego by Mariana Enríquez

4.0

4,5/5 stars. Enriquez’s horror is just a little push over our daily fears. Their characters dwell on the diffuse limit between the real and the surreal, and at any turn anything could happen. Her power is the power of our own twisted reality, of it being stranger than fiction, and that is amazing. The only critique I have are a few deus ex machinæ in a few stories, but otherwise this book is full of unexpected twists and grounded horror stories. Very recommended.
