Atomic Habits: An Easy & Proven Way to Build Good Habits & Break Bad Ones by James Clear
5.0
This was the right book at the right time for me. Of course, I'd enjoy a book on habits anytime, but I was just about to lose interest in a couple of my good habits, and this book gave me so many good insights and practical tips to keep going in those habits. It also made me realize why some areas of my life work so well--long term, automatic good habits. For example, reading and reviewing books. But other areas of my life, like saving money--not so much. He has inspired me to set up systems in those areas to start changing them. And made me realize why--some things that I like to do (writing for example) but hardly ever do don't happen. Because I don't have any time in the calendar allotted to them! I love that he summarizes the points of each chapter at the end. And if you don't like to read, you can watch his Ted talks.
