I quite enjoyed reading something so different from this author. It's dark and gritty, definitely not for readers sensitive to some triggers. I found each of the characters to be well developed, providing a good variety in personalities (both good and bad). I'm really excited to see how the relationships between Elena, Jonah, and Black progress through the series. The steam was on point. While the cliffhanger will drive me insane with need, I loved every second of it!
