Akira, Vol. 2 by Katsuhiro Otomo
5.0
Much more action packed then the first volume, volume 2 really begins to pack in some amazing sequences for tetsuo and the other psychics to use their powers.
We also see some great illustrations of destroyed Tokyo, as well as some amazing scenes with newer cool technology.
Story wise this volume really built off the first one and serves as a more action packed sequence then a plot builder.
A lot of the volume revolves around a chase to Akira, complete with lasers, jet bike things, explosions, and freezing temperatures.
Liked this volume a lot and can’t wait to dive into vol. 3.
