Continuing the successful pair race between Bosch and Haller, this time introducing Haller as a prosecutor, allowing the story to enfold both as a detective and courtroom story.

It’s cleverly constructed and entertaining and gave me the appetite to learn more about Bosch, so I’m going to pick up the early Bosch novels shortly
