The Masquerades of Spring by Ben Aaronovitch
5.0
This was very much like PG Wodehouse's books about Bertie Wooster living the high life with Jeeves in New York City in the 1920s--if Bertie were gay and in love with a Black jazz aficionado--oh, and there was magic! Thoroughly enjoyable. Thanks to my colleague Ken for alerting me to this delicious spin-off from the Rivers of London series. I hope it becomes its own series!
